Support Staff

Hi! My name is Katie Anderson and this is my second year at John Fuller. I have absolutely loved working in such a wonderful school and learning and growing as a one to one aide. I have always had a passion for working with young children. Before coming to John Fuller, I worked as a nanny for two young boys. After 5 years, I was excited to try something new and further my experience.

In my free time I have enjoyed co coaching the high school dance team for the past four years. I also enjoy skiing, walks with my dog Luna, and dancing!

Hello! My name is Katie Johnston and this will be my 3rd year at John Fuller School as a Special Education Aide. I am so happy to be back! I have always worked with children in some capacity even growing up. I love it! I grew up in an in-home daycare and more recently I was at The Vaughan Learning Center (formerly North Conway Daycare) for almost 12 years. I met so many amazing families there and am finding that I now get to see those amazing humans at JFS. I am currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Human Services and will graduate this spring. I love learning and I love helping children grow in so many ways!

I was born and raised in Mount Washington Valley and after many years away in either California or Maine I landed back home about 13 years ago! I also hold the title of Mom and it is my favorite title of all! I love all the warm months as I could easily live at the beach and enjoy the sun. I love reading, hiking, and adventure of any kind. My favorite adventure so far was swimming with sharks and stingrays (at an aquarium not open ocean)!!!

Hi, I’m Shareeda LaMountain, but most people refer to me by my nickname, Annie. For the past two years, I have served as a paraprofessional in Ms. Masse’s K/1 classroom. I’m somewhat new to teaching, having previously worked as an accountant before moving into banking for several years. I am not entirely new to teaching, as I have been very actively involved in educating my three children and helping them all to achieve academic success. As such, I’ve found teaching has just come naturally to me and is what I was meant to do from the beginning.

I love working with the youngest kids, seeing them come alive as they discover the joys of learning and their intellectual curiosity blossoms. Being a mom, I’m a nurturer and oftentimes find myself bringing that into the classroom as I help our kids learn not just their letters and numbers, but also how to take on the little challenges life sometimes brings their way.

I am a native of Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean but lived for some time in New York City before moving with my husband to his native Maine. In addition to being a teacher and mom, I’m an avid gardener, tending to my 14 (and counting) gardens whenever the weather allows. I also love to hike and have climbed nearly all the 4,000+ mountains in New Hampshire and Maine—I’ll get to the few that remain in due time.

Thanks for sharing your kids with me!

Mrs. MacDonald

Hello! My name is Meredith MacDonald and I am thrilled to be starting my 23rd year as a paraprofessional at John Fuller! I have been assigned to every grade level throughout my years here, and I love them all! My favorite subjects are math and science and I love exploring these subjects and more with kids at every grade level. Many of you may know me as the lady in the bus loop. This is one of my favorite times of day, when I have the honor of meeting and greeting all of the students and many of the John Fuller families.

I grew up in Massachusetts, but was very lucky to spend summers and winter vacations here. I learned to ski at Cranmore and spent my summer days at the North Conway Community Center. My family moved here permanently when I was in eighth grade, and I attended Kennett High School. After leaving to attend college in Boston and Rhode Island, I returned to the valley and have been here ever since.

I am married and have a grown son and a daughter-in-law. In my spare time I enjoy reading, traveling, gardening and spending time with my family and friends.

I’m currently in my ninth year at John Fuller. This role is a perfect fit for me because I’ve always loved being around children. One of my favorite things about my job is witnessing students learn and use new concepts — they’re like sponges! I think it’s as rewarding for me as it is for them.

My education and training are in several areas. This is helpful when working with many different kinds of students with diverse backgrounds and interests. I’m also always open to new learning opportunities so I can continue to grow and improve as a resource for children and families.

Living in the Mount Washington Valley means access to so many amazing outdoor activities! My two sons and I enjoy skiing, hiking, mountain biking, and running. Our Newfoundland mix, Ellie, is also an eager participant in our family adventures.
