This is RMMS' fifth year of the enVision Math 2.0 program.

The components of an enVision Math 2.0 lesson include:

Solve-and-Share Problem

• Each lesson is opened with an engaging problem for students to discuss and share strategies

• Concept is introduced through this problem-based experience

• Connects prior knowledge to new ideas

• Students solve the problem any way they choose

Visual Learning Bridge Video

• Direct instruction of the lesson's math concepts and skills

• Connects student's thinking from the Solve-and-Share problem to math ideas in the lesson

• Includes interactive engagement to build understanding through classroom conversations

Show Me (K-2) / Convince Me (3-6) Problem

• Focuses student's attention on the important lesson idea

• Used after the Visual Learning Bridge Video to check for understanding and facilitate class discussion

Guided Practice

• Lesson concepts and skills problem-solving is modeled for students

• Used to identify errors and provide remediation

Quick Check Problems

• Specific problems assigned to check for understanding

• Used to determine differentiation needs in classroom

Rotations

• Small group math instruction with classroom teacher

• Independent math practice

• Math center activities

• Technology
