Physical Education at the Hollis Primary School
My philosophy in physical education is to help each student develop a lifelong appreciation for physical activity. We achieve this through a variety of movement experiences that include exploration, guided discovery, and direct instruction. As students grow and succeed, they are presented with new challenges that build their motor skills and promote confidence, cooperation, and enjoyment in physical activity.
All lessons are designed using the national standards and grade-level outcomes established by SHAPE America, which serve as the K–12 framework for health and physical education.
