Eureka Squared Math

Eureka Squared is new to RMMS, and I look forward to learning more about this curriculum in our opening days of school before students begin. Here are the overarching themes we will address in kindergarten.

• Count and write numbers to 20

• Count by ones and tens to 100 

• Comparing numbers and groups

• Representing addition and subtraction within 10 

• Fluently add and subtract within 5

• Compose and decompose numbers 11-19

• Describe measurable attributes and use them to compare two objects

• Classify objects 

• Use positional words

• Classify two and three dimensional shapes

• Name and compose shapes
