Curiosity

a strong desire to know or learn something

Curiosity makes the world what it is today. We learn, grow and improve from curiosity. Creativity goes hand in hand with curiosity. In children curiosity is innate. It is a child’s internal desire to learn. It is what motivates them to seek out new experiences. Curiosity helps a child to develop better observation skills and expand their vocabulary as they use language to describe what they are thinking, seeing, hearing or experiencing. The Arts are a curiosity and children learn through the process of experimenting with materials to create their own magical and outrageous ideas which make perfect sense to them. Pablo Picasso spent most of his adult life trying to recapture the creative spontaneity he had as a child. As you make your way through this extravaganza of masterpieces we hope you enjoy the beauty and joy of youthful curiosity.
