Homework

Our homework is meant to give the student and parent a time to review and strengthen first grade skills. Homework is an opportunity for your child to explain and demonstrate his/her understanding and also allows parents to stay informed.

Your child will bring home a monthly homework choice board. Your child is expected to complete 4 activities per week and return the board at the end of the month. Cross off each box as you complete it. Parents should sign the bottom of this paper to say you have completed it!

**If your child completes all the boxes on this sheet they will become a member of the 1st grade HOMEWORK CLUB.**

In addition, please have your child charge his/her Chromebook nightly and bring the Chromebook to school fully charged. Chargers can stay at home.

Your child should also try to spend time each night enjoying some books. This time can look different night to night. Some nights you may read to your child. Other nights your child may read to you. Then there are times when the both of you may share the reading.
