About the Teacher:
Mrs. Roggenbuck lives in Goffstown, NH with her husband of 34 years. They have twins that are 27 years old. Mrs. Roggenbuck has been teaching for 38 years, and 37 of them have been in Auburn. She was born and raised in the mid-west, Illinois to be exact, and moved to New Hampshire in 1988.
About the Subject:
There are four main units in Science: Light, Particle Nature of Matter, Invasive Species, and How Water Shapes our World. We use and online program called IQWST from Activate Learning. Students will also use a binder and Science Notebook for modeling concepts learned in class. There are a lot of hands-on activities and labs done in class using engineering processes. Generation Genius is an app that includes videos, questions and answers, DIY activities as well as lessons that compliment the curriculum.
