Dear Third Grader,
The new school year will be here before you know it! Remember to bring a great attitude, willingness to take responsibility, and a smile! If you venture out on the “WONDERFUL” journey known as “back to school shopping,” here are our suggestions:
Students will use:
1-2 box(es) of pencils (#2, Ticonderoga sharpen best) *
colored pencils and/or crayons (no need for more than a 24 pack)
EXPO dry-erase markers (4 pack, colored are fine) *
pencil sharpener (hand held/enclosed)
pencil case (soft cases fit best in our desks)
Elmer’s glue sticks
pencil erasers *
earbuds or headphones (inexpensive ones work just fine!) - in a Ziploc bag clearly labeled with your child’s name
Personal/small hand sanitizer
healthy snack & drink every day (water bottles are permitted on desks at all times)
If you'd like to donate, here are things we would love:
Disinfecting wipes * (Lysol/Clorex & Wet Ones are appreciated!)
Soft tissues *
Pencils & pencil top erasers
EXPO dry erase markers
Ziploc bags - sandwich, quart, or gallon
It may be necessary for us to ask you to replenish some of these basic supplies* as the year progresses. We will gratefully accept periodic donations of school supplies at anytime during the year as well.
Over the summer, it would be beneficial for you to read and practice your math facts often! You can practice addition, subtraction, and multiplication (x0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10).
