Conferences & Speaker Series

Attending & Participating in professional Conferences

Due to the flexibility of the daily schedule in Quest, students have been able to take advantage of the myriad of professional conferences happening in Singapore. This has allowed students incredible opportunities to engage directly with professionals across various industries, and students apply the skills they are learning in Quest such as networking, delivering elevator pitches, and demonstrating intercultural competency as they navigate conversations with whom they have just met. These interpersonal skills help prepare students for interviews, and a wide range of social events they will be attending at university and beyond.

ALl that matters conference

Quest students attended the All That Matters conferences from 2016 and 2019. Some of them even participated in a panel discussion for the marketing track at the 2018 conference. The All That Matters conference has become an annual conference experience for Quest students.

Note: The conference has not been held in 2020 or 2021 due to the pandemic. We look forward to Quest students participating in the All That Matters conference next year and in the years to come.

In November 2019, Quest presented at the Edutech conference, this included one of the Quest students, Ush, presenting to a room full of technology education professionals. This serves as one more example in how Quest students practice and demonstrate skills to an authentic audience.

Attending & Coordinating speaker events

Each year, Quest hosts speaking events in which professionals are invited onto SAS campus to share their expertise with the SAS community. Often students are directly or indirectly involved in the booking of speakers or handling communications and logistics for these speaking engagements.

Highlighted below are some of the speaking events from the past five years.
