What positions are there in Band Council?

President (8th grade only)

Vice President (8th grade only)

Social Chair (2 - 7th and 8th grade only)

8th Grade Representative (2)

7th Grade Representative (2)

6th Grade Representative (2)

General Members (any Arcade band students who attend meetings)

Who can be on Band Council?

ANY band student can be on Band Council and attend our meetings. If you would like to be a Band Council Officer, you need to fill out the application (below). 

Can I be on Band Council without being an officer?

Absolutely! Anyone can be on Band Council. We recommend this for any student who would like to help plan social events, explore a new group of friends, or would just enjoy being more involved with Band! It's also a great way for 6th and 7th graders to check out what each officer position does, and consider what they would like to apply for as an 8th grader.

When will Band Council meet?

After the Band Council students have been chosen, we will decide the best times to meet that will fit with all or most schedules.   This might be before or after school, or during lunch.
