STAAR/End of Course Testing

Does my child have to take a STAAR Exam this year?

No, the STAAR tests have been cancelled for this year. Keep in mind, if your student is enrolled in an End of Course STAAR class, they must pass the class for the year to be exempt from taking it at a later time. End of Course classes are: English I; English II; Biology; Algebra I; and US History.

Grading During At Home Learning

How will the work my child is doing be graded?

Grading policies for At Home Learning are posted on this website on the Grading Policy page. On that page you will find the current policy for both elementary (PK-6) and Secondary (7-12).
