Workshop 2: A European curriculum

Objective:

Imagine that the European Union is planning a new school subject called “European sciences”. This subject should help students to learn about the other European countries and make the transfer from one European country to another easier.

Help the European Union to plan the curriculum for that subject.

• At what age should students study “European sciences”?

• Which topics should be included into the new subject and why?

• How would your curriculum help future students to overcome the difficulties you faced while doing your research on Monday?

• Are there things that should be changed in schools altogether to make European collaboration easier?

Prepare a presentation (5-10 minutes) during which you present the curriculum you designed.

Please use a format that is usable online (Google slides, Padlet, Prezi,…) and remember to include all the sources for pictures you use!
