Meeting in Penzberg
In January/February 2023 all the partners met again with a new group of students and teachers in Penzberg, Germany. The theme for this meeting was Education and Work in a foreign European country. The students worked on finding information about what it means to study or work in another country - about language, economy, certificates, different school systems, and how to live in another country.
The students had first-hand experience living in host families and staying in the host school.
During the week, the students had workshops on how to study abroad and they created a common European subject with a European Curriculum. We had speakers talking about studying abroad, an online discussion on "Free movement of labour in the EU/EEA". We had a workshop designing cars at the junior campus of BMW World in Munich. And we had a guided tour of the historical centre of Munich. In Penzberg we also had a guided tour of the coal mining museum of Penzberg.
