Preparatory activity: Interviews
Do an interview with your grand-parents or other senior citizens about what exchange programs they did during their time of education. You can ask the following questions:
Did you study abroad?
If yes:
Where did you go? Did you take part in an international exchange program?
Was it difficult planning your stay abroad?
Did you have problems communicating abroad?
What were your experiences? Would you recommend studying abroad? Why?
If no:
Why didn’t you study abroad?
Would you have liked to study abroad?
Do you think it is easier for students today to study abroad? Why?
Present your findings in a suitable way (video with subtitles, presentation, theatre play,…)
