Hello! My name is Jeanine Paule and I am the Walker Community Schools Site Program Coordinator. I have a passion for making school a better experience for all, and I am excited to implement the Community Schools initiative into an elementary school in my hometown of Mira Mesa! I look forward to getting to know the Walker school community and helping the students take steps to achievement, inside and outside of the classroom. I also enjoy photography and videography; capturing events and candid moments around campus. Outside of work, I love being with my husband and my three little J's.

Hi, everyone! My name is Katie Carmichael (Ms. Car), and I am the Community School Site Coach at Walker Elementary. I am passionate about supporting the Community Schools initiative to create a shared vision of growth and success for Walker and our community. You may have seen me around campus or heard your child mention my name—along with being the site coach, I’m also the resource teacher at Walker, helping students with reading and English language development. Literacy is my jam! In my free time, I love going on walks with my dog, being creative, and spending time with the people I love.

Hi! I am Alison Dickens and I am a Central Office Resource Teacher. Walker is one of the  Community Schools that I support in the district. I am excited to partner in the work with Jeanine, Katie, the rest of the Community Schools Team AND the entire Walker community. I have been in the field of education for 26 years, mainly as a high school science teacher, with five of those early years as a high school assistant principal. I moved to San Diego from Michigan in 2009 and started teaching at Lincoln High School.  I am excited to support this work in an elementary school environment, as inspired by the “Littles” in my life - my 11, 6, and 3-year old nephews. In my spare time, I love watching women’s soccer and I love to travel. In fact, I will travel to watch soccer!

Hello! My name is Regina Serbin and I am the Principal at Walker. I am very proud to serve the Walker Community. It is my hope you and all your loved ones are happy and healthy. I am proud to serve this community and nothing fulfills me more than to spend time with our Eagles and their families in their journey of discovery and achievement! My primary goal for our Eagles is to enjoy a learning community in which all students are included, supported, and respected to ensure their success. Personally, I am also a proud mom of Bianca and the spouse of Ken. Family life is very important to me!

Hi! My name is Supriya Parks, and I am Walker Elementary’s school counselor. I am really excited that Walker Elementary is a community school! As the school counselor on site, I try my best to be as present and available for any student, family, or staff member. Building relationships helps foster community and trust, which is something I am most passionate about. When I am not at Walker, I am a busy mom of three young children, Neil, Amelia, and Alexander. My husband and I love taking the kids to explore and visit all the different fun things in San Diego!
