Walker Elementary PTO

The Walker Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a group of Walker families and staff members who come together to build community and support our school. We help boost school spirit and create meaningful experiences for our Walker students.

Here’s how PTO participation benefits Walker students:

• Increased parent involvement is linked to improved academic performance, better attendance rates, and reduced behavioral issues among students

• Improved communication between families and school staff fosters open dialogue, better understanding, and cooperation while inviting parents to be part of the solution

• Fundraising and resource allocation supplements the school budget and supports educational programs, extracurricular activities, and infrastructure improvements, providing a more enriched educational experience beyond standard curriculum

• Volunteer support broadens the site’s capacity to extend supportive services and events to students
