Students can now use their sandi.net account email addresses to send and receive email!
NOTE: Student emails are intended to communicate with SDUSD teachers and staff. In other words, students cannot send/ recieve emails with other sandi.net student accounts.
Go to www.gmail.com and log into your sandi.net account
OR
Sign in on to the GMAIL App on your phone or tablet.
Email basics:
"To" field: type the email address of who you want to email. You can add more than one here.
"CC" field: This sends a 'carbon copy' to the email addresses you type here. You probably won't need to use this.
"Subject" field: This is the subject, topic, or purpose of your email only. DO NOT type your entire message here. For example,"Homework question" and "Absence on Monday" are appropriate to write in the subject field.
Body Text: This is where you will write message.
Email Etiquette: Be sure to let the person know who you are, which Course you are in (if applicable) and be as specific and concise as possible. Do not assume the recipient knows what you are talking about. :) Write and "sign" your email as if it is a friendly letter.
