Bookmarks

Create a bookmark:

Go to the web page/doc/link/ etc. you'd like to bookmark and click the star on the address bar (look all the way to the right). Then, select where you'd like to "store" the bookmark.

If you choose the bookmarks bar folder, the icon and title will show at the top of your window.

You can edit or shorten the title or delete it so only the icon shows.

Click on "more" to manage your bookmarks and create new bookmark folders

Bookmark Bar:

Click the menu button (3 dots in the upper-right of the window) --> Bookmarks --> check "show bookmarks bar".

If you have more bookmarks than the bookmark bar can fit, you can access your other bookmarks with the two right-pointing arrows *at the end of your bookmark bar), like a drop-down menu.

You can fit more bookmarks on your bookmark bar if you shorten or delete titles, like the image on the right.

Extensions

Extensions are like shortcuts on your browser (seen as icons like the image on the right) to access program features, such as Mote, Google Translate, Screencastify, Padlet, Google Read and Write, Bitmoji, and so many more! You can add many programs you use in class. Also, check out the Chrome Web Store for more extensions (Some may be restricted on your sandi.net account.)

The little puzzle piece icon shows more extensions if you have more extensions installed than the space allows.
