Introduction
San Diego Unified School District's Audiology program provides audiologic assessments, direct consultative services to students with a hearing impairment or Central Auditory Processing Disorder, and support to parents, staff and other district offices in efforts of providing students equal access to district curriculum and programs. Services include:
Audiologic evaluations for students with known or suspected hearing loss at no cost for students enrolled in SDUSD
Central Auditory Processing assessments for students with known or suspected auditory processing difficulties as part of a multidisciplinary team assessment
Hearing screenings for preschool and school age students in a special education program or being referred for special education services and for difficult-to-test students in general education
Recommendations regarding the use of and proper fit of hearing aids, cochlear implants, Assistive Listening Devices, as well as for individual FM/DM systems, group FM/DM systems and sound field FM/DM or infrared systems
Analysis of classroom noise via acoustical testing to make recommendations for acoustic modifications as it relates to a student with a hearing loss or auditory processing disorder; and
Programming digital hearing aids and personal FM/DM systems

Coming from North on 163 - Take 163 South, exit Washington St.East. Take 2 turns to the right to go East on Washington. Turn left on to Campus Ave, travel to the last driveway on your right before reaching Birney Elementary and turn right into Ed Center parking lot. Continue straight until reaching Annex 2. Merge to the left to arrive at Annex 17. Parking is available in front of our office for scheduled appointments only.
Coming from South on I5 - Take 163 North, exit Washington St. Turn left on to Campus Ave, travel to the last driveway on your right before reaching Birney Elementary and turn right into Ed Center parking lot. Continue straight until reaching Annex 2. Merge to the left to arrive at Annex 17. Parking is available in front of our office for scheduled appointments only.
Coming from South on 805 - Take 805 North, exit El Cajon Blvd make a left. Continue straight until reaching Park Blvd make a right. After passing the CPA building on your left immediately make a left turn into the Ed Center parking lot. Continue straight ahead until reaching Annex 17. Parking is available in front of our office for scheduled appointments only.
Coming from North on 805 - Take 805 South, exit El Cajon Blvd make a right. Continue straight until reaching Park Blvd make a right. After passing the CPA building on your left immediately make a left turn into the Ed Center parking lot. Continue straight ahead until reaching Annex 17. Parking is available in front of our office for scheduled appointments only.
Desde el norte por el 163 – Tome la carretera 163 en dirección sur, tome la salida Washington St. East. Gire hacia la derecha 2 veces para dirigirse hacia el este por la Washington.
