Apply 24-25 School Year

Enrollment Period for 24-25 School Year begins March 19

iHigh Virtual Academy is a K-5 public online school within San Diego Unified School District. If you live outside of San Diego Unified School District, you will need to obtain an inter-district transfer from the district where you reside first. Please follow the steps below to apply for the 24-25 school year.

Currently enrolled elementary students at iHigh Virtual Academy do NOT need to reapply and can connect with the main office about next steps or refer to the Family Update.

Step 1: Interest Form

Step 2: Screening

Once your enrollment interest form has been properly filled out, you will be contacted to arrange a meeting with the counselor. This meeting allows us to get to know you and ask questions about the program to ensure we can meet your needs.

Step 3: Enrollment

Once a student has been accepted into the program and the required enrollment paperwork is submitted in a timely manner, parents will (in August)

Receive teacher assignments
Sign the master agreement
Pick up related materials

We will NOT accept online submissions of forms. They must be turned in to our main office in a timely manner.

Important Enrollment Information

It is the parent/legal guardian's responsibility to use the information provided in the enrollment process' overview videos to determine whether iHigh's independent study program is a suitable learning environment for the child's educational needs.
iHigh enrolls based on availability, submission of the Enrollment Interest Form does not guarantee enrollment.
After the submission of the Enrollment Interest Form, there are additional enrollment steps. These steps have to be completed within the established timelines. Not following these timelines may result in iHigh not having available space for the student.
