Hello Third Grade Parents and Students!

Welcome back to another great year at Ericson Elementary! We are excited to get going with our program again and start making beautiful music together. Our focus will be on supporting our students with the fundamentals of music and music expression as outlined by the National Core Arts Standards for Music:

THIRD GRADE

a) Improvise rhythmic and melodic ideas, and describe connection to specific purpose and context (such as personal and social ).

b) Generate musical ideas (such as rhythms and melodies) within a given tonality and/or meter.
