Before a problem can be solved, it must be identified. What are the challenges faced at Hoover and within the City Heights community?
When creating your list, use inductive reasoning (start with specific issues and then sort into categories) or deductive reasoning (start with broad categories and then list specific examples for each).
As you explore the various agents of change, how are technologies being applied? Are the being used to support or suppress groups? After you have selected your organization, ask yourself the following questions: how are they communicating their message? how are the getting their data? where could they do a more effective or efficient job in their efforts to change our community?
"Tools" is an interesting word as it can have a literal and metaphorical meaning. You will explore both sides as you determine your answer.
