Mid-City CAN is comprised of residents of the Mid-City neighborhood who care about making a lasting impact in this community. We gather around the top issues residents care about, forming teams of volunteers. Mid-City CAN helps organize these teams to accomplish their goals. Our mission is to create a safe, productive, and healthy community through collaboration, advocacy, and organizing.

City Height CDC is community based organization working with residents, elected officials, and the City of San Diego to improve transportation, housing, and economic development. Our Mission: For nearly 40 years, we’ve worked to enhance the quality of life in City Heights by coming alongside our community to promote affordable housing, livable neighborhoods, and economic self-sufficiency. Mission Statement

The 18 cities and county government are SANDAG, the San Diego Association of Governments. This public agency serves as the forum for regional decision-making. SANDAG builds consensus; makes strategic plans; obtains and allocates resources; plans, engineers, and builds public transportation, and provides information on a broad range of topics pertinent to the region's quality of life.
