Graduation Information
Cap & Gown will be released to eligible students, date of release will be announced.
Meet the expectations for a diploma or certificate of completion per AR 6146.1.
Recover senior year truancies (AZTW codes in PowerSchool; 3 Ts permitted per semester)
Maintain a minimum 2.0 in citizenship*
No suspensions in the second semester*
No five-day suspensions during the school year*
No involvement in senior pranks*
All school debt is paid
Complete any online courses needed to meet graduation requirements by May 22, 2025
Seniors with any AZW truancy codes or more than three Ts per semester in PowerSchool will be ineligible to participate in commencement or prom (Additional criteria exists beyond attendance). Students can recover their attendance through lunch study hall, SR6 Saturday sessions, Peer Tutoring, or through attending their teacher's office hours. Truancy codes must be recovered prior to the ceremony and during one of the scheduled times.

Starting at 3:45PM Seniors along with their family and friends are welcome to take pictures in the school quad.
Seniors, please note if you have your gown on at the time of arrival you will need to remove it at the Check In Station.
All graduating seniors will go through the Check In Station and will begin to line up for the ceremony.
Cap decorations will be checked by staff and must meet the guidelines.
If you are late, you will need to enter through the main gate to be escorted to a seat in the back row.
Participation in the ceremony is voluntary for those meeting all graduation requirements.
Seniors Must Check in at 4:45PM at the Check In Station, which is located by the basketball courts next to the gym (please use the ramp or stairs).
Cap and Gowns are to be worn over appropriate attire (please only flat shoes or wedges - spikes will damage the turf) - Do not wear your gown until you have gone through the check in process.
Religious and cultural adornments may be worn with the gown.
School-approved tassels, sashes/stoles, cords, and pins may be worn as well. No home made sashes or cords will be allowed.
Tassels should hang on the right side of the mortarboard.
Graduating Seniors SHOULD NOT bring personal belongings – no backpacks, (items will need to be left in the gym at your own risk ) with the exception of 6.5” x 4.5” small clutch purses.
Cell phones will be permitted.
After the ceremony, please meet your family at a pre-arranged site. Avoid congregating in the immediate area of the stadium entrances and/or exits to reduce congestion as guests depart after the ceremony.
