This form must be completed by May 26, 2026. Students will not receive their cap & gown until the form has been completed.

Starting May 1, 2026 through May 22, 2026
The graduation gold cord is for 3.5 and above GPAs - Cords will cost TBD.
Please verify that you have a weighted GPA of 3.5 or above on your Power School Transcript in the Student Portal - it must be the 10th through 12th Total Weighted GPA (Example: 10 - 12 Total WGPA).

If you have a 3.5 or above in the total weighted GPA category you may purchase a cord. You may purchase with a credit/debit card via Schoolcashonline.com or with cash, credit/debit card, and digital wallet at the Finance Office.
Borrowed Gold Cords will be provided free of charge ONLY to Seniors who:
1) meet the GPA requirements and
2) have borrowed their cap and gown and
3) have chosen not to purchase a Gold Cord.
The borrowed Gold Cords will need to be returned at the conclusion of the ceremony along with the borrowed cap and gown unit.
All Gold Cords will be distributed with the caps and gowns on May 26, 2026 .
All Graduating seniors will receive 4 free tickets to graduation. Effective this date, graduating seniors can purchase additional tickets to commencement online. For more information, please visit the Guest Admission Tickets page.
A Student ID card or number will be required to make the purchase.
Senior Prom will be held at the Bloom Nightclub Location from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. Details will be posted on _srhsclassof2026
All Graduating seniors will receive 4 free tickets to graduation. Effective this date, in addition to online sales, graduating seniors and families can purchase an unlimited number of additional tickets to commencement in person at the finance window. Senior finals are on May 19 and May 20 and all Seniors should report to school per their regular schedule

Time: During lunch and one hour after school (Bell Schedule)
A Current School Year I.D. card is required.
Location: Scripps Ranch HS Theater
Time: 4:30PM - 6PM
Invited graduates and their parents attend this program to honor achievements of the Class of 2026. Invitations are sent from the counseling office to seniors receiving awards.
Starting May 21, 2026, Seniors will have four (4) school days to return all instructional materials AND have cleared all DEBTS before Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
The library return hours will be from 8:00 AM - 3:45 PM.
Students who owe a debt will not receive their cap & gown until the debt is cleared.

You can pay your debt(s) with cash, credit/debit card or digital wallet at the finance office during student office hours (no checks will be accepted). Bring the invoice from the library to show Mrs. Ngo what is owed.
Senior Picnic on Friday, May 22 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM in the stadium. Attendance will be taken as this is a regular school day.

Cap (every cap will contain a tassel) and Gown distribution will be outside the Counseling Office from 8:45AM – 11AM.
There will be one station to pick up caps and gowns, gold cords, commencement program and four complimentary graduation tickets per graduating senior.
Rehearsal will be held in the stadium from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and is MANDATORY for those who plan to participate in the Commencement Ceremony.

The Class of 2026 Commencement Ceremony will be held at Scripps Ranch High School's Grosvenor Stadium from 5:30PM - 7:30PM

Graduates must arrive promptly at 4:45PM and go to the Check In Station located between the outdoor basketball courts and gym
After the ceremony, graduates will return their borrowed cap, gown and tassel and any borrowed gold cords in the South D Ring of the stadium from 7:30PM to 8:00PM.
After the ceremony, graduates will pick up their diplomas in the South D Ring of the stadium from 7:30PM to 8:00PM.
Diplomas issued by the San Diego Unified School District are original documents and cannot be replaced if damaged, lost or destroyed.
