I learned how to use Laser cutter machine and 3D Printer and selected a ready online shapes to know how this process be done.

3d printing process
1- Select the file from makerBot website
2- Open Ultimaker Cura and drag and drop the file into it, thin determine print setting according to the quality which what I want.
3- After that we can know the total weight of the object in grams and the time will be taken to complete printing it.
4- Click in preview bottom to see all layers in our object.
5- Thin save it and rename the file using material used, weight in grams and the taken time.

Laser cut process
1- Select the dxf file from 3axis.co website.
2- Open the file in LaserWorkV5 program and determine which lines will cut and which will scan with right speed and power to get the final product what we want. we can do this by making the lines in different colors.
Yellow is a cut mode and 300 speed and 25 power, Red is a scan with 300 speed and 25 power and Black is a cut mode with 30 speed and 65 power.

By using laser cut machine and wood material I made the design
After determine this sittings I click in download to send it to the machine.
After this I used the arrows (in fig 1) to determine the origin and set it, thin check the frame of works is in on the used wood.
Thin I show the process time and it take 1.8 second.
Thin click start to start the process.

After saving my file, put in into memory card and thin attach it into the machine.
First select the right material and right color what I want. thin attach it into the machine.
Second make sure our machine get the right color.
After that start the process to get the printed shape.

At first I choose another design idea but the instructor Amany suggested to take the chess design because the another design needs a lot of supports and the final product will not be clear.

1- Laser cut mistake: don't determine the accurate dimensions of my product, so the function is changed from medal key to a room decoration.
2- Determine a small cut power so it should repeat the cut process to cut the shape from the board.
In 3d printing process it could be a mistake happen but it didn't, to avoid it don't put many shapes an same process

1- On my final project I will not print many shapes at the same time because it take more time and it may cause damage in my product.
2- In laser cut process i will make sure the dimension of all parts an the cut power to cut it in one time.

The coolest thing in this week that I used the machine by my self and it was my first time to do that.
And I was so lucky because my design didn't damage although I printed more than one object in the same time.
