i really like cartoon characters

this charachter inpired me , i think it's funny enough to me a souvenir for my first 3D PRINTING experience

i like this shpe as a coaster  ut i 'll make some changs in this shape to combine it with other hand craft , and i'll attach the final product later :)

by using lasercad , i prepared my dxf file

selecting cuting areas (black lines)

engraved areas (red lines)

spead cutting (red lines)

i added 4 circles with dia.2cm 

then ,, file export  with my modifications on it

i choose for cutting  speed = 10        power=65

            for engraving   speed = 200    power=40

              for scanning    speed = 200    power=30

 layer higt : 0.3

infill : 10

infill patern : grid

adhesion type : brim

scale : 60%

estimated time after slicing = 36 min

me and my peers (group a1 &a2 ) are very helpful & friendly

in our first assignment we asked alot of questons on slack & dm massages , every one gives help :)

i 'm tring to help any one of them but ican't mention every thing i did because  i make it spontaneosly

abdullah helped me in laser cutting setion (hacks and tricks)

yossef was very helpful in 3D printing

kholoud tried to help me in the final project propsal 

esraa was ver helpful in the setion of smart lamp , she is very artistic talented

all of them supported me in my project idea and encourage me to proceed :)

i never forget our instructors mohannad and yassin , they are really helpful

when i stuck i turn to 

slack , portal , mohanad & yassin

i advice any one to start working in this assignment early , step by step

the most thing i  think it was difficult for me is decomentation as its my whole life problem !!

i can't explain by writting very well but i hope MAKER DEPLOMA will develope this side on me :) 

the solution was to review the progress sheet to cover all points wanted

** befor laser cutting while reviewing the file with eng.mahmoud he found out a big mistake in the drawing which makes the whole design ingraved ,, we found the openned line in the drawing and avoid it in selection by making it spead cut

*** i learned to consider the concept of closed areas or opened in my design regaeding the final shape i want (cut , ingrave or scan)

I can use this skills on my final project for the casing of my projct and decorating it

the coolest thing is reverse learning tequnics :)

i'll never forget how it's useful  for people like me :)

i really get board from learning too much fundamentals to reach my goal :)

i was very happy to make my first prototype with cardboard tequnics with my son
