Inspiration
consists of two parts one for brushes and the other part is for different typs of pens and pencils.

using fusion 360 for designing the product parts and smiulate the final result before fabrication.
Using rd works to prepare files for laser cutting
Prusa mk2 machine is used for 3d printing
PLA filment
Elmalky laser cutter is used for laser cutting process
3mm ply wood is used laser cutting
Step 1
Rule 1# After opening make a new file and save it.
Step 2
Rule 2# Make a new component.
Step 3
Start a new sketch on the left plane
Step 4
Then start drawing the sketch of the side of the holder by draw a rectangle. the rectangle is the highlighted one
Step 5
The rectangle size is 60*80mm
Step 6
Add extentional rectangle for x slot
the rectangle size 6*100mm.
Rebeat the same thing in the other side.
Step 7
Inside the extentional rectangle draw another rectangle its dimentions 3*50mm
Step 8
For the T-slot , draw a rectangle its size 8*3mm then add point in the middle of one of the smallest side.
Add a point in the middle of bottom line of the side.
Step 9
use horizantel and vertical constrains with points to make the t-slot rectangle in middle of the side

then use conciden constrin to put the line of the t-slot rectangle in the same level with side bottom line.
Step 11
draw a rectangle its size 5.50*2.40mm and put a point in one of its horizantal line.
Step 12
use horizantel and vertical constrains with points to make the t-slot rectangle in middle of the side
Step 13
use dimentions tool to make the hight of the nut rectangle from the botom line of the 3mm.
Step 14
then add the taps by drawing a rectangle its dimentions 10*3mm and its dimention from the center of the t-slot 3mm.
Step 15
Rebeat the last step to make the other tap.
Then finish sketch.
Step 16
Extrude the side for 3mm

After that back to the main component and make a copy with paste new to make the other parts of the holder.

After coping a the second part of the holder we will add a finger tap in the upper line for its sketch. its dimention will 80mm/3 *3mm

Rebeat the last step on the other side. and add extentional rectangle for the x-slot part.

Then finish the sketch and exxtrude the finger taps.

Copy the component with paste new then edit the sketch of the new component to make its dimention 50*100mm.

Edit the X-slot to be on the upper side.
Then finish the sketch and extrude it for 3mm

Activate the main component then copy the third side with paste new then add joints between parts.

Add the capative nut bracket. and its degree from 60 to 90 and make it 15*15mm.

Joint the bracket to the holder side.
then copy the holder side with paste new.

Extrude the x-slot part to make the side with no open parts

copy the baracket and joint it to the oppesit side

Make a new component and start a new sketch on one of the finger taps then project the middle taps and screw holes
after that draw a rectangle its dimention 37*80mm.
Make the rectangle on the middel of the taps.
Then draw acircle inside the rectangle its diameter 15mm
copy the circle for 4 times.
Step 29
Finish the sketch and extrude it.
then add joints between brush holder part and the sides

Project the screw holes on the sides

Make a new component
Then starts a sketch on one of the bottom taps.
Then project all the bottom taps.
After that draw a rectangle its dimentions 102*92mm.
Step 32
Draw screw holes between each 2 taps the diametre of the hole is 3mm
Step 33
Extrude the base panel.
Make it Ground and joint all parts to it.
Preparing Parts for Fabrication
First we will choose the bracket and save it as mesh.
From the menu we will choose STL Binary
and for Refinement choose High
In cura we will make the orientation of the bracket on its side
Parametres
uncheck the support.
layer hight 0.3mm
Infill 10%
Printing temperture 215
To prepare wood panels
choose the panel and from create choose DXF for laser cutting
Make laser kerf -0.15
Rebeat the last step with all wood panels.
Then open Rd to prepare the file for cutting
Cutting parametres
Speed 40
Power 50-55
Download the laser file on the laser machine.
then Start to cut it.
Copy printing files with g-code to the printing machine via SD card.
and start printing.
Start assembling the parts by attache the screw and nuts.
