Now , I gonna make an electronic device that performs two actions .
for me, I enjoy making Home appliances so , I choose this beautiful washing machine .
This tutorial helped me a lot to do my task .👉
_ Software
It is a free app for 3d design , electronics , and coding
_ Electric components
_Making Tools
Firstly , opened TinkerCAD and created new circuit .
Then brought the components needed ( breadboard mini , gearmotor , red LED , 220 ohm resistor , switch , power supply ) .
After that started building my circuit , The components are connected in parallel so that they obtain the same voltages(5v)
Put a side switch to manage controlling the circuit turn on and off .
Started simulation to test if the circuit work or not .
Firstly , I brought the electric components needed ( red LED , 220 ohm resistor, gearmotor , breadboard mini , switch , DC Jack , 5v adapter ) (wires , (2) male male to connect the LED to breadboard and (4) male male (2) for the Jack and (2) for the gear ).
I built the circuit as I did on tinkercad , making sure that the components are connected on parallel and the wiring is exactly connected .
Test the circuit by powering it , to make sure it works .
circuit building
circuit simulation
Secondly , I brought the making tools required to build the maquette
_ Cardboard , to build the body of the washing machine , having (6 rectangles 10*13 cm) to make a rectangular prism with scissors and cutter .
_ Small bottle , to make the inside rotary container , cutting it's cap and make some holes in it with a cutter or a digger tool .
Finally , It's time to mount them together so,
Bring one cardboard rectangle to make the base of the device , then stick 3 small rectangles on each other to make two columns in front of each other to prove the gearmotor on them so then stick the gear on with glue , and after that collect the other cardboard parts together to close the enclosure of the box , remembering to make a hole for the jack on the back side and another two small holes for the LED and switch on the top and another circle hole for the door , and to make the door : cut two circular frames from cardboard and a Circle made of transparent white paper and put it between the two frames , and to make the door open and close easily, bring thin wire and put it into small cylinder then , stick it on the extremity of the circular frame .
During building the sumo car , we built two H_bridge circuits .
By testing the components at the first , we found out that the gear does not work , so we had to replaced it .
We faced some problems like that some wires was not connected to electricity and the AVO helped us knowing that , and sometimes we wired them not on it's place and with revising the wiring connection found out that .
As required in the final project to make a smart device so , it will contain smart components , these components need electricity to work so , we need to know how to power them to make them work , and that we learned in this week .
Okay , I really enjoyed learning about this electric section , as it helps me understand a lot of things around me .😀
We made this sumo cars in the Makeathon #1 🤩
It was wonderful building it and competes each other on the session.🥰
Also , I'm happy to say that we was the winners .🥳
