I get inspired by this video and tried to make it with my touch!
The idea of the assignment is how to move the pen from one side to the other side without touching the wire to win the game.
when you touch the wire the buzzer will beep and you will lose the game.
Software: Tinkercad
Components:
Mini Breadboard
5V power adapter
220-ohm resistor
Crocodile wires
Jumpers
Buzzer sensor
LED
On/Off switch
Materials:
Drill
Cutter
Cardboard
Glue
Glue gun
Old wood
Double Tape
Metal wire
First, I tried to make the circuit and simulate it on tinkercad. I replaced the on/off switch with a push-button.
I have wired the buzzer sensor and the led to the breadboard.
After simulating the circuit on Tinkercad and making sure that everything is working correctly, I started building the circuit on the breadboard.
Connected the buzzer sensor to the gnd and +ve pin, and the led with a resistor to gnd and +ve pin in the breadboard and included the ON/OFF switch to control the whole circuit.
At first, I made the circuit without the metal wire to make sure that it is working as planned.
I connected all the components in parallel so that there is no division in voltage among the components and the potential difference is the same as the voltage source.
I used the 220ohm resistor with the led to limit the current flow and to keep it from receiving too much voltage.
And, 5v adapter because I searched in the datasheet of the buzzer sensor, and found that the operating voltage is 4-8v. so, 5v is suitable.
Then, I started including the metal wire and testing it.
After that, I started cutting the Prototype and fixing everything, The buzzer sensor, ON-OFF switch, The socket, the breadboard, and the LED were fixed with double face tape and normal tape.
I made two holes with the drill to pass the metal wire and fix it.
At first, I had a problem while drawing the circuit in the tinkercad. I went to youtube videos and I replaced the on/off switch with a push-button and insert in the prototype the metal wire.
When I got stuck I turn to youtube videos.
I got stuck with how to insert the metal wire in the circuit to beeb when I touch it, and I reach to insert the wire in the circuit and when I touch it the circuit closed and the buzzer sensor and led connect to show that you lost the game.
I think this assignment will help me a lot when I started my final project, it give me a sense of how things go on, and helped me understand more how the components will work together.
Making Batoota from scratch and compete with other teams. :D
