The assignment idea is designing and fabrication mobile holder using fusion360 to design and laser cutter machine to fabricate.
I've got the phone standard dimensions from the official website, then designed based on that.
I've been inspired by this design, it's quite simple
and the more important that is it meet all the requirements, including the assembling way of screw & nut,
ofcourse after modifying the assembling way

In this week's assignment, we have used fusion360 to sketch and assemble the holder, after that the parts sketches were exported as dxf. files, then used RDWorks to get the rd. file, finally laser cutter machine was used to fabricate the parts from the plywood sheet.

after that I have sketched the parts using fusion360, extruded them, and assembled to check that it can be assembled in right way
First of all, I got the phone standard dimensions from it's website,
then I had adjusted the placement of the phone along with the initial dimensions, modifying the outer dimensions
this one shows the two sketches, as fully defined sketches

After exporting the sketches as dxf. files, it had been modified on RDWorks, to be prepared for laser cutting.
during the file preparation, I have rotated the second side stand part to make the sheet good nested.

after exporting the rd file, I've uploaded it on the flash memory of the laser cutting machine, updated the memory and selected the file.
the previewed time was 57sec for cutting, it was such little time cause there was no engraved shaped included in the design.
after making sure that the focus is right, putting the wooden sheet, make frame to make sure of the cut area,
just run the file and let the laser do it's work.

At the beginning I had deferent plans for the design, but it wouldn't be that good after Appling the required assembling way, so after little discussion with the instructor, I looked for changing the design to be more fit

This week I had some problems in defining the sketches at fusion.
but after couple times of attempts, it went great!
