This one's name is "GO AWAY".
The project is box holding Arduino inside it, It does nothing, Literally :D. it is in a bad mood and all it wants to be left alone.
So, try to make it happy, try your luck with the switch.
It's gonna be fun to make this useless box.
I've been inspired by several useless box projects on instructables, here are some links:
The moving mechanism is generated by two servo motors.
servo motor is perfect since we don't need to make full rotations, also it's easier to handle the two direction movement
So, when the person tries to annoy the thing and switch on the switch, the first motor opens the box cover paving the way to the other.
In order to add sensing element, IR sensor will be added, with LCD screen, the LCD screen will have like three states, when the IR reading is negative, when the IR sensor is reading a signal, last one when the toggle switch is turned on.
Construction Parts
Wooden enclosure made of plywood
Input
(Sensing, Tactile Input, and/or Graphical Input)
Physical Input:
On\Off button that the user uses to start the Power.
switch on the toggle switch, (which will be turned off by the thing :D)
Sensing element:
IR sensor detects if there any movement for a person just near the box.
Action
(Physical and/or Graphic)
Showcase mode:
There are two movement actions, the first one that the servo opens the upper cover, the second one is that the other servo switches off the toggle switch.
Also there is LCD screen which have like three modes based on the action.
Brain
Arduino UNO
Power Management
Adaptor 9 Volts
Minimum Features: are the least amount of features that would demonstrate the coverage of all the technical modules and their complete integration
Complete Features: are the set of features that will complete your original project objective and vision
Nice-to-have Features: are the extra set of features that will make the project cooler, yet they need extra time, effort, and/or resources to finish
Minimum User Features
switch off the toggle switch
Action: the 2 servo motors
Sensing:
User Input: Switch on the toggle switch
Complete User Features
door action based on IR sensor
Action: Door servo
Sensing: IR Sensor
User Input: intersect the IR sensor line of detection.
Nice-to-have User Features
LCD three modes outputs
Action: LCD output
Sensing: IR Sensor
User Input: intersect the IR sensor line of detection, or change the state of action
