Mobile Holder
In the beginning, I started to search about "mobile holder+laser cutting" to find some inspiration for my design and, Finally I decided to make this design.
Fusion 360 for the design.
RD Works for laser cutting preparation.
Machines:
El Malky ML1390 CO2 Laser Cutter.
Material:
Plywood sheet 0.3*30*50 cm.
Side view sketch
Firstly, I started to draw the sketches of three projections of the design, and here is the first side that I started to draw.
In this sketch I was drawing by following the following methodology:
Drawing: using the following commands:
Line (L)
Rectangle (R)
Mirror
Modification: using the following commands:
fillet
Trim
Fully defining: using the following tools
Dimensions
Constraints
Secondly, I started to sketch the front side of my design following the same methodology:
Drawing: using the following commands:
Line (L)
Rectangle (R)
Mirror
Modification: using the following commands:
Trim
Fully defining: using the following tools
Dimensions
Constraints
And finally, I started to sketch the top view of my design following the same methodology:
Drawing: using the following commands:
Line (L)
Rectangle (R)
Circle (C)
Mirror
Modification: using the following commands:
Trim
Fillet
Fully defining: using the following tools
Dimensions
Constraints
Now, This is the time to extrude all sketches which I drew to transfer them into 3D parts to be able to assembly them with each other by using the feature "Extrude".
Note: During extrusion, make sure to select the type of operation to be a "new component" otherwise you won't be able to assemble the parts of the project.

Assembly
Finally, I started to assemble the four parts by using the feature "Assemble" as a "Joints" to be able to attach all of them with each other in the right position.
After finishing my Sketches on fusion 360 I saved them as *.dxf files to be ready to import them to RD Works software.

RD Works
I selected the layer parameters according to the following factors:
processing mode: cut
Speed of cutting: 25 (mm/s)
Power of cutting: 65 %
After saving files in the format *Dxf, I imported them into RD Works to set the parameters of the cutting process.

I went to Fab Lab Egypt for cutting and fabricating the mobile holder.
Fully defined sketch
Actually, I was facing a problem with making my sketch is fully defined, and when I asked my instructor "Esraa Rageh" she advised me to set the dimensions according to a defined point and use the constraints to connect the relationship of sketch lines and points with each other, so my God bless her.
When I couldn't make my sketches fully defined firstly I came back to the tutorials, It was useful but it was not enough to solve the problem, so I had to search on YouTube, and then things seemed clearer, but I still did not understand some points until the time for the EO week session came, when the instructor simplified the matter for me until it seemed clear as I mentioned earlier.
Youtube video
There is no doubt that the knowledge and skills that I gained during this week will greatly help me in my final project, as I will be able to draw, design, and assemble all parts of the project in detail and make sure that they are compatible with each other in terms of movement in addition to using laser cutting machines to cutting these parts
