The final result
My assignment for this week was to make a low fidelity prototype for a smart pet feeder using cardboard according to the following parameters:
Size in real life. "Dimensions"
User interface. "Usability"
Mechanisms. "complexity"
We have used the following tools:
Scissors and cutter "for cutting cardboard"
pencil, ruler, and compass "for drawing"
hot glue "for assembly"
Tools we used
Result of brainstorming
We spend the first 15 minutes brainstorming and we prepared the final layout of the project and then we have divided roles between us, I was responsible for the user interface and mechanisms while Farida was responsible for the design and, both of us participated in assembling of the project.
Firstly, we started by setting all of the dimensions for parts of the project then we started to cutting cardboard according to our dimensions. After that l started to build a mechanism while Farida was working on the design of the interface.
Title of Media
Yes we did, they suggested making the size of the project more biggest and more stable until the pets don't mess with it or fall it down.
When we were working on the dimensions of the project we had to research that also during determining the amount of food we researched about the daily needs of food for pets according to their weight.

Solar tracking system using cardboard
I can use the cardboard for making a low fidelity prototype showing my idea as shown in the picture.
The thing I will never forget is that any prototype has to take into consideration the following parameters:
Dimensions
Usability
Mechanisms
