buzz wire
Week 5 is like a gate for electric world. It is more closely to jumpers, breadboard, volt, current, Arduino and etc...
This is why it so important and interesting specially for me as an Engineering student.
Therefore, the main idea is to understand the concepts of electricity and how to deal with electric components and how to connect all parts together to get a close electric circuit has a function.
The concept of open/closed circuit is generally the way to understand volt and current and how different methods of connecting could change the whole behavior of the circuit. So, i searched for examples to get inspired and one of these ideas was the buzz wire game. This link below is for a YouTube video that inspired me to build my game "Buzz Wire".

components :
1-slide switch
2-Buzzer
3- led
4-resistance
5-power supply
The buzzer is connected to the LED in parallel connection to split the current with a constant voltage
connections:
1-connect the power supply to breadboard
2-connect buzzer to the negative in the breadboard
3-connect positive of the buzzer to the positive of the led
4-connect positive of the led to slide switch
5-connect the negative wire of slide switch to the negative of the power supply and the third wire to the positive of the power supply to close the circuit. I used 5 V Power supply as there was a need for the 9 V in my circuit structure.
The implementation process has been done through three phases:
Phase one: cut the cardboard to make the box design and create a place for the buzzer, on/ off switch, and the led. Also, I made a place for the copper wire
Phase two: Connect the circuit by designing the circuit to start with the on/off switch connected to the anode-led leg then the buzzer that is connected to the copper wire and the copper test wire to close the circuit.
Phase three: Place the components in the structured design.
The challenge which I faced while working was failing the first test then I traced the circuit again and I found the led is burnt so Polarity is so important to check because it could make the whole circuit does not work and maybe some components destroyed accordingly.
The type of the circuit connection will help me in my final project to decide the type of circuit that i will work on in the design phase before the implementation.
