MOBILE HOLDER

I got inspired by this and i decided to write my slogan " SCIENCE IS FUN" instead of "NEVER GIVE UP"

Tool Chain

Fusion 360 is a cloud-based 3D modeling, CAD, CAM, and PCB software platform for product design and manufacturing...

and I use it specially for 3D design

i used laser work v6 to design my cat paws

Laser Cutter Machine
sheets of wood has been used
Laser work software has been used

Design/Preparation Process

using fusion360 to sketch my 2 parts pen holder.

1)draw the T-slot dimensions in one part of them

2) I made it fully defined shape before extruding

3 extrude my parts to 3 mm

170 mm lenght and 70 width

assembly 2 parts together using joints toolI to show the final design of the project, and to notice if there is any problem with the dimensions before fabrication

Development/Implementation Process

then i exported sketches from fusion as DXF form

then I moved to laser work software to write the sentence.

I colored all with black because i wanna cut the sentence also and i edited the speed with .25 and the power 65

finally it's RLD form ready to be cut

using laser cutter machine for making final product and i took 3:32 mins

import the file to the computer of laser cutter
download the rdl file to the machine
place the wood on machine
choose the start point

Community of Learning

.I asked abdelrahman about my mobile holder and he suggest to put a plastic piece to prevent it from slidding.
also i was having a problem to draw a line and my instructor told me that i have to select two points.

Overcoming Challenges

First I wrote the sentence in fusion and then realized that i can't cut it because it is in a separated sketch

So, after searching, I deleted it and wrote in laserwork software better than fusion.
