PRESENTATION OF THE PROJECT TO THE TEACHING BOARD AND TO THE PUPILS.

The project was presented to the pupils and to the teaching staff. Each school filmed their pupils pronouncing the project title in their own language and sent the video to the partners.

PROPOSALS OF LOGOS AND BOOKMARKS

Pupils prepared logo proposals for the project to share with partners. The logo chosen is the one prepared by the Estonian pupils. Bookmarks with decorations in tune with the themes of the project were also prepared, to be sent as a gift to the pupils of the German partner school where the teachers trained.

October November 2018

FIRST INTRODUCTORY CONFERENCE OF THE PROJECT for the presentation of the same to the families of the school, to citizens and authorities. The referent and other staff teachers illustrated the project, the aims, the planned activities. There was the extraordinary intervention of an expert nutritionist, a specialist in the "Mediterranean diet" who explained to the bystanders the importance of a healthy diet and a healthy lifestyle.

The evening was enlivened by the interventions of our students with singing and musical performances with musical instruments and performances.

The conference was held in a famous room in the historic center of the city, the "Monastero del Soccorso" where POSTERS AND BANNERS FOR THE EVENT WERE EXPOSED both inside and outside the structure, which highlighted the Erasmus program. The conference had great resonance in the city and great approval from families and the city as a whole. The authorities have expressed satisfaction and the willingness to assist the school in a path of great training and education for users.

November 2018

CREATION OF THE EXHIBITION CORNER of the project where the activities are documented through photos and products of the students. The exhibition corner also contains a time line on which you can read the activities that are carried out throughout the journey. Exhibition inside and outside the school of the flags of each partner country and of the European one.


Development in the classes of the learning unit "HEALTHY FOOD AND TRADITIONS": THE HEALTHY SNACK. Introduction by experts, group activities, production of small storyboards to be posted in the exhibition corner and shared with partners.

December 2018

Pupils participated in WORKSHOPS FOR THE CREATION OF CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS to be exchanged between partner schools. At the school entrance, the children decorated a Christmas tree covered with decorations received from each school (the children anxiously waited for the packages that arrived to unwrap the gifts received).


January 2019

FOCUS ON THE DAILY EXERCISE OF MOVEMENTS AND STRETCHING. Introduction of good practices to reduce the time of immobility in the school desk; outdoor recreation. The learning unit was supervised by a specialist teacher in physical education from the teaching team. These activities will be repeated every day.

Development of the learning unit "THE MEDITERRANEAN DIET: KNOW ITS BENEFITS" (characteristics, properties; the importance of fruit and vegetables; the role of vitamins; Fair and balanced dishes and dietary frequency through various educational courses and with use of numerous tools built by the children together with the teachers such as the Food Pyramid and games related to the Mediterranean diet.

Preparation of the reception and useful materials for the activities intended for children and teachers during the meeting in Italy.

March 2019

WELCOME OF PARTNERS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT IN ITALY OF THE LEARNING UNIT "THE MEDITERRANEAN DIET: KNOW THE BENEFITS". 25 students were hosted in the families who regularly carried out the educational activities planned in our school in order to introduce them to the healthiest diet which is the Mediterranean one. (The activities have been described in the space dedicated to mobility).

An afternoon was dedicated to the official reception of the partners which was held in the city theater, the ancient "Mercadante" theater and saw the participation of all the students of the project, their families, the authorities and part of the citizenship in possession invitation.

This evening kicked off with the flag ceremony, the presentation of the project and the partner schools, the exchange of gifts, performances by the children of infancy and primary school who performed in a choir, dances, recitations, demonstrations of new teaching / LEARNING techniques such as kamishibai and more.

The event had a lot of resonance in the city. A report was broadcast on local TV and local newspapers spoke about it and interviewed the coordinators.

September - October 2019

Food and movement: life in the open air - preparation of the meeting in Estonia. Outdoor activities and focus on benefits.

The pupils who participated in the Meeting IN ESTONIA HAVE PREPARED A COMPLETE REPORT OF THE ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT AND THE EXPERIENCES MADE.

All interested classes went to the auditorium in turn to enjoy it. The initiative met with great success among the pupils who were able to live the experience they had in Estonia moment by moment and remained fascinated by it and understood the positive prerogative of living outdoors as much as possible.

Dissemination and evaluation of the results of the activities in Estonia. The results and the report were also disseminated among the classes NOT participating in the project because the topic had been appropriately included in the annual work plan.

November 2019

THE GARDEN AT SCHOOL: we have created a small vegetable garden in the school garden with the help of experienced parents; creation of a small composting plant with waste materials, in collaboration with an experienced parent. The children planted numerous vegetable specialties, took care of their growth and collected some mature plants.

"SPORTS CELEBRITIES SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES": viewing of Pietro Mennea's film, readings on numerous champions who have distinguished themselves such as Zanardi and others; interview with a local football champion VIA EMAIL. The pupils understood that, to achieve success in any field, it takes perseverance and a lot of determination.

"EAT IN COLOR AND LIVE HEALTHY": discovering the nutritional properties linked to the colors of fruit and vegetables.

The pupils watched a very simple and captivating documentary about the benefits of each color of fruit and vegetables. Subsequently there was a brainstorming and discussion then the pupils created a summary poster with the beneficial characteristics of the colors of the foods.

Centrifuges in the classroom and tasting of drinks thus obtained.

The pupils then performed games and food acrostics; the little ones have created a wall poster with the food traffic light.

March - June 2020

LOCKDOWN AND DISTANCE EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES

The pupils continued their online activities also for Erasmus. During this time they tried their hand at healthy physical activities AS AND WHERE they could; they also experimented with their parents many simple but healthy recipes. By combining part of the photos and videos that the pupils sent, a very nice and interesting video was born that was shared between the partners and shown online to the parents.

October / November 2020

The pupils prepared some healthy and genuine recipes at school: They participated in many classes with enthusiasm and joy with ingredients and dishes provided by their parents.

4 typical Italian recipes have been chosen that have made us known around the world. The recipes and related photos have been sent by each partner school to the Greek school which will create a multimedia product of excellence, inspired by the traditional cookbook
