During this one semester course, students will deepen their
understanding of the economic problems and institutions of the
nation and the world. They will learn to make reasoned decisions
based on economic issues as citizens, workers, consumers, business
owners and members of civic groups. Topics covered include the
basic concepts of scarcity, economic choices, economic efficiency,
comparative economic systems, microeconomics, macroeconomics
and international economics.
