Innovation through Design Thinking
Using observations collected from the interview, we identified one of the client's needs and brainstormed a series of "how might we" questions to address that need.
How about creating a fun, well-balanced schedule with strategies that encourage you to prioritize & section out your work?
A fishbone diagram allowed us to assess the causes of the problem and determine potential areas of impact for the app design.
A mindmap allowed us to brainstorm ways to design the user's needs. From the mind map, we developed three ideas for app development.
A checklist app, with color-coded prioritization for each task.
A "Hard to Make" App Idea
An app that (Ai) generates his lesson plans & assists him with doing homework for students.
Virtual card collector: Once he completes a task he gets a Pokimon card & adds to the collection after completing every task he has for that day.
Further user feedback allowed for the selection of all the ideas and the development of the app wireframe. The user provided input throughout the wireframe design process, resulting in this final design.
"The Pokemon app is lovely and creative. A reward-based system is helpful for my primal lizard brain."
