In this quest we will be talking about a variety of apps that are great for smashing. The great news is that there is such a huge variety that can be used, hopefully some of your favorites might come up. The biggest thing you need for this quest is some screen time. You need to open some apps and just play around to get familiar with how the app works and how publishing happens on the app.

Remember that you can add apps, delete them when not in use and then add them back when they are needed. I tend to do this a lot with free apps to test them out and so all my storage isn't taken up. Remember with App Smashing that the camera roll is your friend. You can do a lot of different editing techniques right in the Photos app.

Most people organize their apps in three categories:

-Creation

-Editing

-Publishing/Presenting

So let's get started. Look at some of the apps in the articles and image below. Try out at least 3 different apps. While you are working through how the different apps work, think to yourself how that app might work in collaboration with another app for an App Smashing project.
