Instagram is a social media app that allows users to share images via mobile and desktop devices. It was launched in 2010 and was acquired by Facebook in 2012 for $1 Billion. It has grown rapidly in popularity in recent years and, like most social media, has been leveraged in powerful ways by educators!
Just like other social media apps, Instagram can be a powerful tool when used in the classroom, or when teachers use it to further their practice.

Let’s get your Instagram account set up!
Creating An Account:
First, you’ll need to download the app to your mobile device. Visit your device’s app store to get Instagram.
If you already have a personal Instagram account that you are OK with sharing for personal and professional use, share the link in the submission document below.
If you would prefer to make new account for professional use only please, that’s fine, too.
