What's Inside the Happy Healthy Tooth

In this work I detail the internal and external structures of a tooth, I start by going over vocabulary establishing 6 basic elements I plan to teach about. Then I cut to a video of me showing what part represents what as I use a model I made to go further into depth about the structure and function about different parts of the healthy tooth.

Strep Throat Testing

In this video I explain how to do the procedure of a strep throat test. I first explain to my patient what we are gonna be doing and then proceed to start doing the testing. Later on I tell the camera what I do for the testing and since the results came back negative I will let my patient know.

Procedure for Immobilizing a Person on a Backboard

During our First Aid unit we were introduced to Spine Board Immobilization. We were tasked create a video on the procedure to immobilizing a patient. Spine boards are used as support between the plush surface and patient by a log roll to facilitate effective CPR. In the video you will see my team and I properly place a patient on spine board.

Piriformis Syndrome

Deep gluteal syndrome, extra-spinal sciatica, and wallet neuritis are terms for piriformis muscle spasms. Diagnosis involves assessing symptoms and using imaging tests. Treatments include exercises, medication, and therapies, with recovery in 3-6 weeks. Both conditions involve sciatic nerve pressure due to muscle irritation or injury.

How to properly Floss & Brush

Demonstration on how to properly floss and wash your teeth. This procedure takes a maximum of 3 minutes. The bass method is the most typical way to make the most of it. This procedure involves bringing your toothbrush's bristles into touch with the gum and tooth lines at a 45-degree angle. To avoid damage, brush gently in a circular motion.

How to Make a Study Model

Taping an Ankle

During my Sports Med Class I got to learn how to tape an ankle when their is a sprain, among others. Though, when it got to taping ankles I could say that it was such a great experience. Taping the ankle helps for stability, support etc. which was a great benefit to learn, especially because we got to go to actual games, to enhance our skills!

Proper Tray Setup

The proper tray setup is the arrangement of dental instruments and is important in a dental facility to increase efficiency and reduce risk of being exposed to harmful pathogens. The tray consists of 4 instruments including: Mouth Mirror, Explorer, Cotton Pliers, and Periodontal Probe.

BLS Infants and Children

Choking is the 4th leading cause of death in children under 5 but that can be lowered by learning CPR. In this presentation I will be providing information depending on the types of children/infants, situations, and a model. My goal by the end of this presentation is to teach people how to properly do CPR/look out for if a child/infant is choking.
