Students in Art in the Digital Age will explore how technology has opened -- and closed -- many doors for artists. From cinema to scripts, typography to billboards, the landscape has been changed through the implementation of computers.
Students leaving this class will have an e-portfolio filled with projects. Expect to create, discuss, and immerse yourselves in art!
The syllabus and guidelines sheet gives a detailed look at what's expected for incoming and attending students.
Please read and become acclimated with this sheet as it will answer many of your questions and be referenced during individual discussions regarding behavior and grades.
All students should show up to class prepared and ready to learn. This includes having a charged Chromebook with its charger, as most of the curriculum will be online.
It is expected that students keep up with assignments, be productive and efficient in their work, and pay attention to the requirements.
No student should fail this course. Each of the programs comes with video lectures, copious notes, guided practice exercises, and study quizzes. Class participation is required as class-time will be spent going over classwork.
