All SUSD Digital Citizenship Lessons are in Nearpod!

List of Lessons

  • All Digital Citizenship lessons are in Nearpod and Nearpod is in Clever for Teachers and Students.

  • Go to the Nearpod District Library and choose your folder. Find your grade level and add lessons to your lessons.

  • Complete Chromebook 101 before signing RUP (links below)

  1. Access Nearpod from Clever. On the left, choose District Library.

Responsible Use Policy (RUP)

  1. Parents will sign the RUP online in the Aeries Parent Portal during Data Confirmation. Please encourage families to complete the Data Verification process.

  2. Teachers will give students a Student RUP and keep a record for yourself. Links:

Digital Citizenship Lessons from Common Sense Media for all TK-8th Grade Salida Students.

All teachers are expected to teach Digital Citizenship lessons as required by the Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA). The lessons are from Common Sense Media are found in Nearpod. Lessons are taught during the first two weeks of school.

Keep in mind that Digital Citizenship is ongoing and should be revisited throughout the year and especially when a teachable moment arises.
