Body Systems Semester 2
This subject, introduces students to the concepts of movement and the function of the human body in sport. Students will participate in a variety of practical and theoretical lessons to begin exploring a variety of topics in this area. The content is an early introduction into some of the key learning areas within the Science and Physical Education curriculum at Year 11 and 12 level. Key areas of study include: the science behind elite athletic performance—learning how the cardiovascular, respiratory, and muscular systems work together to power the body.
