The North American Interfaith Network (NAIN) CONNECT conference will be hosted in conjunction with the URC on Saint Mary's and Notre Dame's campus in August 2020. The theme of the August 2-5, 2020 conference is "Immigration/Migration and the Inclusion of All: How Faith Traditions Illuminate the Borders." Joining communities from the United States, Mexico and Canada, this conference will offer workshops "academically focused looks at interfaith work and measurable outcomes, balancing openness with congregational safety, a review of how faith traditions speak to immigration, migration, racial justice and other ‘border/barrier’ issues, and practicums," as well as other faith-based activities.

Fall 2020

The museum exhibit at History Museum of South Bend was originally scheduled for May 2020, however we have had to postpone the opening until this coming fall. We look forward to sharing our research and presentations with our community and others who may be interested in displacement, museum work, and humanities research. Currently, this is all dependent on the evolving situation with COVID-19. Once it is safe to gather we look forward to sharing our research and learning more from other organizations.
