The Data Visualization Project was my first notable interaction with the process of seeking out pieces of data and applying them to a visual canvas such as the StoryMaps website. Something I really enjoyed about this project was the freedom it gave me to explore any story of my choosing, so long as it had a strong location narrative, and apply unfamiliar methods of storytelling to a story that I personally knew very well.Â
