My favorite animal is the pigeon and I have an ongoing list of which cities have the best pigeons. Florence, Italy is currently in first and New Orleans, Louisiana is in last. 

My dad's family is from Scotland and my mom's family is from Germany. I have visited the hometowns of my grandparents in each country. 

Since coming to SMC as a freshman, I have attended 12+ concerts. 

My hobbies include reading, writing, travel, crochet, cooking, and skiing. 

I recently participated in an archaeological dig in Oxfordshire, England, where my team helped unearth a 3rd century Roman farming villa.
