Subject: IMPORTANT ROOM RESERVATION INFORMATION FOR FALL 2026
Sent: March 27, 2026
Dear Students,
It’s time to plan for fall housing!
ALL students who wish to live on campus for the 2026-2027 academic year (including commuters who will move to campus) should apply to participate in the housing lottery by April 6 at sage.erezlife.com.
In the upcoming room selection process for the 2026-2027 academic year, students opting to live on the Albany campus will be able to select from the following buildings:
New! ACPHS South Hall (sophomore housing, rooms ranging from 2-4 occupants with private bathrooms and air conditioning)
University Heights College Suites (4-person, 2-bathroom suites)
Students opting to live on the Troy campus will be able to select from the following buildings:
New! Kellas-Slocum Hall, 3rd Floor (co-ed, single-room corridor style)
New! Sage Hall (co-ed corridor style; includes Honors Housing, newly renovated).
Apply for Honors Housing here.
Esteves (French) House (female-only)
German and McMurray/Spicer/Gale Houses (co-ed brownstone)
More information about each building and the timeline of the housing lottery process can be found at our Room Reservation Site
As a reminder, students working with the Office of Accessibility Services must have completed documentation submitted to their office by April 6.
Rooms must be filled to capacity. You will be able to select a room in the housing selection process if you are in a resident group that matches the capacity of the room.
For example, to select a triple room, you will need a group of 3 students. To select a double room, you will need a group of 2 students.
Suites in Albany must be filled to capacity. Students opting to live in University Heights College Suites should plan to select their suites in groups of 4.
Room reservation times will be assigned based on the number of completed credits, and students will be eligible to select a room if they have completed the following:
Submitted a FAFSA form to the Office of Financial Aid;
Registered full-time (at least 12 credits) for the Fall 2026 semester;
Your student account must be free of any holds;
Have updated your emergency contact information through Self-Service.
If you wish to change your residency status, you may apply to become a commuter provided that you meet the conditions stated in the RSC Residency Policy.
There will be no increase in room rates for the 2026-27 academic year. More information about meal plans will be available before room selection.
Best,
Grace Giancola
