Major Project is a large self-directed project that spans over the final two trimesters of your degree. The first trimester is dedicated to PLANNING. The second trimester is dedicated to DOING.

• Until now you will have been delivered prescriptive content, i.e. you have received briefs to work towards

• In Major Project Pre-Production students are coming up with the ideas, pitching them to the cohort, and the cohort will collectively decide which projects to work on

• You will form groups around the projects and collectively produce your major work 

• This project will, ideally, be the crown jewel in your portfolio 

• Consider what kind of work you’d like to be known for – and perhaps consider the entry level roles you’d like to be employed in after you’ve finished SAE, aiming to show solid skills relevant to those positions
